Marvellous answer
A mechanic was removing the cylinder heads from the motor of a car when he spotted the famous heart surgeon in his shop, who was standing off to the side, waiting for the service manager to come to take a look at his car.
The mechanic shouted across the garage,"Hello Doctor!! Please come over here for a minute."
The famous surgeon, a bit surprised, walked over to the mechanic.
The mechanic straightened up, wiped his hands on a rag and asked argumentatively, "So doctor, look at this. I also open hearts, take valves out, grind 'em, put in new parts, and when I finish this will work as a new one. So how come you get the big money, when you and me is doing basically the same work?"
The doctor leaned over and whispered to the mechanic.....
He said: "Try to do it when the engine is running."

49 yr old man, stroke
Back in June 2010, I was introduced to Mr Loh by Jeffrey. We all met at Jeffrey's pet shop in Summit, USJ. After introducing myself and my insurance plans to Mr Loh, who was 48 years old at that time, I learned that he was married and have 3 children in Malacca. He had left his hometown to operate his business in KL.
Many visits to Mr Loh in the next few weeks, trying to convince Mr Loh to purchase a medical card for himself, he finally decided he was not interested in getting one. His reason was he had an apartment collecting rental and a booming business with his partner. As I am not a pushy sales person, I thanked him for his time and went on my way. I, too, thank Jeffrey for referring my insurance service to Mr Loh.
Last week, I heard from Jeffrey, that Mr Loh suffered a stroke! He was sent to a private hospital in Malacca by his family. Mr Loh's brother-in-law (wife's brother) was the payor and he was going to the ATM to withdraw RM5,000 everyday to pay the hospital charges. Mr Loh was given treatment in the ICU for a few days before he was stabilised. After many discussions among the family members, they decided to discharged Mr Loh from the private hospital and wanted to admit him into the public hospital (GH) since he was confirmed by the doctors that he was stabilised and the hospital bill was expensive.
After waiting for 5 hours trying to admit into the public hospital, Mr Loh passed away.
Today, I got a call from Mr Loh's niece, Ms Jo, who was studying in Australia and flew back to attend her uncle's funeral. I do not know her, but she explained to me that she had found my business card in Mr Loh's wallet. I am surprised that Mr Loh had kept my business card with him. Ms Jo asked me to speed up her uncle's life insurance policy claim as her family needed the money.
After recovering my shock and sadness, I regrettably told Ms Jo that his uncle, Mr Loh, had not purchase any life insurance policy or medical card from me.

25 yr old man, disability
Before I move to Putra Heights, I was staying at Dorchester Service Apartments, Sri Hartamas. I came to know Mr Wong, a tailor working at Sri Hartamas Shopping Mall. Mr Wong have a 25 years old son, who works as a mechanic in Cheras. He also owned a motorcycle. Mr Wong was very concerned for his son's well-being on the road, because he had heard too many accidents involving motorcycle. He then passed me his son's business card and wants me to get Mr Wong Junior an insurance policy.
Mr Wong Junior was very reluctant to meet up with me to discuss an insurance policy. Over and over the phone, I assured him it is of no obligation to purchase. I explained that an insurance policy can be as low as RM200 a year, for a personal accident insurance. I further elaborated how this affordable insurance can provide lump sum RM100,000 upon accidental disability and also RM2,000 medical reimbursement for every event. My persuasions felt on deaf ears. Mr Wong Junior reasoned that his employer had provided Socso for him. He was also saving money for his coming wedding. I thank him for his time and courteously let him know I can be contacted easily if he ever changed his mind.
One day while moving my boxes down to the rented van, I bumped into Mr Wong and said hi to him. He was quite embarrassed to see me, but I assured him I have no ill feelings with him. Later, he revealed that his son was recently involved with a road accident and it crushed all the bones of his son's legs. He was feeling very remorseful as Mr Wong Junior blamed his father for not buying a life insurance for him. I tried to make him feel better by telling Mr Wong that he is of no fault that his son did not purchase a life insurance policy for himself, being a working responsible adult.
Mr Wong told me his supposedly-future-daughter-in-law had left his son and choses not to care for a cripple husband-to-be.

38 yr old woman, cancer
I was referred to Mrs Koh and her family by Kathy, my secretary. Mrs Koh was an office administrator and had 2 sons age 18 and 13. The elder boy was studying in college. After evaluating a financial planning interview with Mrs Koh, she decided to purchase a savings policy from me. The sum assured was RM20,000 and she was not concerned about critical illnesses at that time. She reasoned with me that she was eating healthily, have no stress, and taking many multi-vitamins. I thank her for her purchase and offered to review her needs in the future.
A few weeks ago, Mr Koh called me to let me know that Mrs Koh was diagnosed with liver cancer stage 4. With the doctor's documents, I expedite Mrs Koh life insurance claim and a cheque of RM20,000 was sent to her.
Mrs Koh had since passed away. Today, I received a call from Mr Koh. I expressed my deepest condolences to him and asked how was he and the family. Mr Koh's eldest son had stopped college and was now looking for a part time job to support and care for the younger brother.
Mr Koh explained the reason of his call to me, that may he request for more money from the insurance company, as the RM20,000 was insufficient to repay the hospital bill, funeral expenses, and living expenses for the family.
I regrettably inform him, that the amount of sum assured purchased by Mrs Koh, was RM20,000 and there are no more payout by the insurance company.

Military Life Insurance
Airman Jones was assigned to the induction center, where he advised new recruits about their government benefits, especially their GI insurance. It wasn't long before Captain Smith noticed that Airman Jones was having a staggeringly high success-rate, selling insurance to nearly 100% of the recruits he advised. Rather than ask about this, the Captain stood in the back of the room and listened to Jones' sales pitch.
Jones explained the basics of the GI Insurance to the new recruits, and then said: "If you have GI Insurance and go into battle and are killed, the government has to pay $200,000 to your beneficiaries. If you don't have GI insurance, and you go into battle and get killed, the government only has to pay a maximum of $6000."
"Now," he concluded, "which group do you think they are going to send into battle first?"

An insurance adviser went to a brothel to sigh up a policy for a prostitute. The agent tell her, "I can't write down your occupation in the application form. It will not be accepted by my company."
After giving it some thought, the prostitute said, "Put me as a chicken farmer." Now, the agent is very curious to how did she came up with that.
The prostitute replied, "I raised 300 cocks in the last year."

Application for Aged Pension
A retired gentleman went to the pension office to apply for the Age Pension. The woman behind the counter asked him for his driver's license to verify his age. He looked in his pockets and realised he had left his wallet at home. He told the woman that he was very sorry but he seemed to have left his wallet at home.
"I will have to go home and come back later."
The woman says, "Just a minute, unbutton your shirt."
So he opens his shirt revealing curly silver hair.
She says, "That silver hair on your chest is proof enough for me," and she processed his age pension application.
When he returned home, the man excitedly tells his wife about his experience at the pension office.
The wife says, "You should have dropped your pants. You could have got the Disability Pension, too."
